On Thursday 21st June RBA packed up our equipment and set off on a day-trip to the Lee Valley White Water Centre.
The day started with acquainting ourselves with the rather…fitting… wetsuits which we were to don for the whole day!
The hours under the sun that followed were a team raft-building effort, which we were then to test on the water with some healthily competitive tasks!
After a short break to bask up even more rays, the adventure was upped a notch as the RBA team took to the more “challenging” rapids, in rafts that were very unforgiving in their ability to throw you with force into the water!
We all lived to tell the tale and share personal anecdotes of our experiences in the raft, with burgers and beers to celebrate a brilliant day.
