Project Overview
Ulster Hospital, a teaching hospital located in Dundonald in County Down, added a series of new buildings to its existing site masterplan as part of a complete site transformation.
- Ulster Hospital Healthcare Project
The project has provided an additional Ward Block containing 300 rooms at upper levels with the lower floors providing new, modern space for the Acute Assessment Unit, Imaging Department, Emergency Department, Acute Treatment Centre, Day Surgery, Outpatients and Children’s Department.
RBA Acoustics were appointed as acoustic consultants by Avanti Architects and asked to provide full acoustic design in line with HTM 08-01. Services included external noise control, advice on the sound proofing of internal partitioning and commission testing on completion.
