The Everyman Cinema at the Arc Shopping Centre in Bury St Edmunds required significant involvement from RBA Acoustics from planning stage through to shell and core commissioning.

The Cinema is located in an area consisting of shops, restaurants and residential properties. It was therefore important to consider noise breakout form cinema auditoriums and patron dispersal noise.
Three new screens were providing an ‘elevated cinema experience’, with luxury sofa seating provided, a bar area and food offering. RBA provided significant input in ensuring that sufficient acoustic separation was provided between cinema screens and adjacent commercial and retail units.
