Project Overview
The creation of an additional floor of penthouse apartments at roof level of the existing 9-11 Weymouth Street building. The project required acoustic input for planning in terms of environmental noise surveying and building services noise assessment. In addition, advice was required in relation to sound insulation between the new apartments but also between the new apartments and the existing residential properties below.

The building remained occupied throughout the rooftop extension works and as such mitigating the impact on these existing residents was critical. RBA assisted in the completion of Section 61 applications with the contractor and provided noise and vibration monitoring services throughout the construction period.
