RBA Acoustics are proud to have recently been working alongside Unite on their new proposed 30 storey student accommodation tower in the heart of Manchester, designed by Simpson Haugh.
Our involvement has included carrying out a full environmental noise survey around the proposed building, considering noise emanating from the elevated railway lines opposite passing through Oxford Road Railway Station in addition to noise from Oxford Road and the surrounding road networks and the impact this would have on the proposals.
Consideration was also given to the vibrant night-time economy of the local area with various pubs, bars and night-clubs in the nearby vicinity.
