We have recently been pleased to work with fit-out specialists Braithwaite Fit Out at the Liverpool Lime Street Development as part of the works for the new ground floor Lidl store. The store is situated directly beneath brand new hotel and student accommodation areas, and therefore it was critical to consider and commission the separating floor’s sound insulation.
As part of the project, a specialist acoustic ceiling was installed. Following on-site testing of the base-build construction, RBA advised on suitable construction proposals in order to meet the high performance levels being targeted.
While we were on-site, we were able to catch a glimpse of the progress at the neighbouring Unite student accommodation development on Skelhorne Street which we are also involved with and is due for completion in summer 2019.
