Stuart graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Leeds School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering in 2010, before going on to study for a master’s degree with the Interdisciplinary Centre for Scientific Research in Music in 2011. After graduating, Stuart continued to develop his project work which was eventually published by the British Computer Society.
Stuart began his career in acoustic consultancy in 2012 with a firm in Gateshead, before moving to the London offices of a global multidisciplinary engineering company. Working in this role between 2013 and 2018, Stuart sat in the environmental department and worked with public and private sector clients on several major infrastructure projects. Stuart joined the team at RBA as a Senior Consultant in 2018, bringing particular experience in environmental noise, planning and construction noise monitoring from his previous roles.
