Pubs, Clubs & Bars

RBA's close links with specialist licensing solicitors means we have assisted on many cases involving pubs, clubs and bars. From the discharge of planning conditions for new premises to the extension of opening hours we have developed methods of ensuring a thorough assessment is undertaken. Given our vast experience of noise control and sound insulation we can undertake troubleshooting of premises subject to noise abatement notices and provide expert representation where required.

Case Studies

Beaufort House
(2010)

Voted the Best Members Bar by the London Bar and Club Awards in 2010, Beaufort House is a premier cocktail bar with brasserie. RBA were instructed to advise on all noise control for the scheme including noise break out from all areas of the premises, sound insulation between different internal areas and the venue management plan.

Roadtrip
(2010)

Located on Old Street, Roadtrip is a late night bar that offers patrons live music, DJ's and a heated out door terrace. Working closely with the licensing solicitor, RBA successfully extended the licensing hours from 3am to 5am.

Lucky Voice
(2006)

Lucky Voice is a Tokyo inspired chain of karaoke clubs that allows friends to hire private booths by the hour. RBA were appointed to undertake a detailed acoustic assessment in support of the application for an extension to the opening hours. This included monitoring noise and patron egress as well as assessing building services noise.
