Success in Hackney for RBA

Following RBA Acoustics success in providing expert input to Paul Daly Design Studios in order to enable their Roadtrip venue in Old Street to open until the later time of 5am on Friday and Saturday nights, we have again achieved success for our clients in Hackney. 

The Zigfrid von Underbelly premises are located in Hoxton Square within the London Borough of Hackney Special Policy Area (SPA).  The SPA is a closely protected area in terms of noise from licensed premises and it is therefore necessary to demonstrate that any extension to operations do not lead to a cumulative impact on the local environment.  We undertook detailed noise monitoring and worked closely with specialist licensing solicitors Dadds LLP to provide evidence to support the successful licensing application to extend operating hours from 1am to 3am on Friday and Saturday nights.
